Residential Fire Sprinklers
The life saving solution.
In Australia, Fire Brigades are called upon to respond to more than 50,000 calls a year.
Many of these calls end in human tragedies in the residential sector of the community.

How
do sprinklers operate?
Automatic sprinklers react to a fire in its early stages by
spraying enough water to either put the fire out, or keep it
from spreading. When the heat from a fire raises the sprinkler
operating element (solder link or glass bulb) to its design
temperature (usually 72C) either the solder link will melt or
a liquid-filled bulb will shatter, thus actuating that single
sprinkler and releasing water in a controlled pattern directly
over the source of the fire. |
