History.
The business of ANGUS EELES was established by Mr. Angus Eeles, who after completing his initial apprenticeship in plumbing at The State Government Coalmines at Wonthaggi Gippsland, moved firstly to Melbourne to gain experience and to complete post apprenticeship qualifications. |

During the Second World War Angus joined the Royal Australian Air Force where his skills as a coppersmith and metal fabricator where utilised in aircraft repairs, maintenance and production operations.
After the war period Angus Eeles moved to Ballarat where he worked for a short time with an established building firm W.B. Trahar Pty Ltd. before establishing his own plumbing contracting business in 1947.
Working initially from the rear of the family home in Eureka St., the business moved to Main Rd., Ballarat where it operated for some years. Rodney Eeles joined the business as an apprentice in 1964 and was managing director of the company until his retirement in September 2007.

October 2007 heralded a new era for Angus Eeles, upon the retirement of Rodney Eeles after forty four years service with the company, four long serving employees, Leah Mason (Administration), Chris Goldsmith, Greg Cox and Michael Shannon (Trade Technicians) gained ownership of Angus Eeles. The combined business and technical skills of the new owners and management team will ensure unbroken service and committment to our many clients into the future. |
In 1969 the business moved to new premises in Ebden st. Ballarat where it has remained.
Whilst the company is licenced to carry out work in all disciplines and aspects of plumbing, the focus of its activities has moved over the years to mechanical services plumbing and is now well established and recognised mainly for its activities in high quality residential and small commercial heating and air conditioning.
